I have been babysitting since I was about 11 years old. I have a passion for working with kids, as I am patient, kind, understanding, and take advantage of every learning opportunity. I have worked one-on-one with children in home settings, I have worked at an afterschool program where I was responsible for 10 or more children at a time, I have worked at a daycare in a home setting, and I have also been a nanny for a family with three children where my responsibilities included more than just playtime. My experience has all helped shape who I am as a caregiver and has allowed me to learn many skills for all aspects of childcare, including problem-solving, motivating, and disciplining. What I like most about caring for children is being able to see the progress they make each day and knowing that they have had fun while learning.
