Hello! I moved to Virginia from New Hampshire in June of 2015, and I am currently working as a Middle School Teacher in Alexandria. Looking for something more permanent, like an after school care provider. **Availability is as of 8/01/19** I spent 4 years working for the YMCA in New Hampshire, where I was a childcare professional working in their after school programs with children in grades K-5, as a group leader for their Summer Camp, in the 5-7 year old unit, as a Kidzone attendant where I took care of infants, toddlers, and children while their parents exercised. I also lead Teen Trip field trips during school holidays, where I supervised a group of 15-25 students (grades 3-8) with another counselor as we took them to local attractions and locations. I have up to date CPR, First Aid, and AED training and I truly love working with children. I Read more spent much of my teenage years babysitting the children in my neighborhood, and it placed me onto the career path I have chosen. I have lots of availability and flexibility! I am willing to do overnights, weekends, school holidays, etc. I have my own reliable transportation as well. I am pet friendly, and not afraid to do light housework!
