Hi everyone! My name is Naomi and I'm 21 years old. I've always known that I've wanted to do something that would make an impact on children/teenagers was something that I wanted to do. After high school graduation, I spent 3 years at a university studying secondary education with minors in biology and mathematics. Although I am no longer in school, spending my days with kids is still something I am incredibly passionate about, which is why I am here! I'm from a family of 7 and that's where it all started. I grew up watching all my younger siblings, then it expanded from there. I worked at a summer camp for 2 summers watching kids ages 3-7, which required me to pass a background check. I also volunteered at a kids basketball camp for 4 winters. In college, I also was a student-teacher for a high school math class Read more for a semester. Besides those larger engagements, I've consistently been babysitting for various families, with ranging numbers of children and ages. I've always loved being around kids. The thing that makes babysitting/nannying so meaningful to me is being able to watch the kid(s) that I spend my days with grow, learn, and become their own person. The feeling that comes with knowing you made an imprint on them, there are no words to describe it.
