I have worked with children since I was 6 and taught myself to play the Sunday School songs on the piano so I could be with the nursery children instead of church. I graduated from Wheelock College with a degree in Early Childhood Education and a minor in Child Psychology. I became the director of a Vermont daycare center right out of college bringing a center with only 5 children to a center serving over 150 children from the area. I held this position for 7 years before changing careers to the Postal Service to afford children of my own. I started my family at 33. I juggled a Postmaster career, three children and everything that comes with a household and children who were involved in every music, drama, and sport the schools offered. My children have now all graduated from college and have started careers of their own. I Read more have worked for the Postal Service for 31 years and would like to retire to Florida, particularly the Fernandina Beach area. I can juggle any busy household you have. I can tutor, help with homework, provide healthy meals, encourage chores, and provide an environment to promote engaged productive children. TV and video games are not my method of entertaining children. I have also been trained in music and storytelling. Reading and songs are a part of my daily routine.
