Hello Families! I am a 33 year old mother of two little ones myself. My son is 5 years old and my daughter is 2.5 years old. Before I journeyed into mother hood I cared for children with the YMCA before and after school programs, pre-school and a Teacher's Aid for a local school district. I have my Associate of Arts Degree and I am currently studying American Sign Language. I completed a 20-hour-basic training STARS program for childcare through the Washington state "Successful Solutions Training In Child Development" program in 2008. I also completed a 2.5 hour educational class on "activities for school age boys" through the Volunteers of America Western Washington Regional after school Project in 2008. This past year I completed eight hours of "Teacher Training In-Service" which included a class on "Brain!Behaviors!Teaching! Oh My!", and "Building Executive Function in Young Children". I also completed a twelve Read more hour "Right Response" workshop this past September 2014 required for all teachers and aids working in the public school system.
