The year I turned 16 the Sunday School Director at my church offered a position as a Sunday School teacher. I was so excited about this opportunity because it meant I'd have a group of my own students to teach. As I began teaching I became passionate in the kids ministry and wanted to grow in my knowledge with children and how their minds work in their development stages. I began taking Early Childhood Education (ECE) courses at Green River Community College, I previously studied Project Teach Program for future teachers. Although I didn't further my pursue as a teacher I enjoy being a nanny so much more. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I have a 6 year old nephew and a 3 year old niece. My husband and I spend majority of our time with them. This also gives me an opportunity to watch my nephew and niece Read more grow, giving me a chance to teach them new things and plan activities with them. As you can see I have a passion that grows daily in working with children. It all starts with us, and how we guide them that will lead them to who they will become one day. Currently I am the nursery coordinator at my church. I manage about 10 volunteers and up to 40 infants ages 0-36 months. I enjoy every moment!
