Hi there, I'm new to Bellingham from Seattle. I am excited to be here and experience more outdoors, community, and creativity. I started taking care of children at a young age alongside my sister and continued babysitting for families in my community. The last 1.5 years I worked at a Literature and Arts focused preschool in Seattle. I was responsible for children ages 5 months- 5 years old. I learned how to communicate effectively with different age groups and how to prepare certain activities based on age groups. Now that I have been away from that job for about 3 months I find myself missing the joy, creativity, and curiosity of children. I am very interpersonal and I value the relationships within my community and believe that community is the key to growth. I am currently preparing to study through Western Governs University online Elementary Education Program I have a Read more passion for education and especially education at an early age giving children the tools to believe in themselves and begin to critically think at earlier ages.
