I have experience working with children, primarily in the infant-2nd grade age range. I value outdoor play, community integration, and brain stimulating activities. I believe in listening to the child and making decisions together, while encouraging healthy habits. Examples of activities I do with children are Lego's, puzzles, craft projects, reading, library trips, children's museum, nature walks and plant identification, canoeing, and swimming (with an emphasis on safety!). I also have experience working with developmentally disabled adults (young adult to senior) with a variety of diagnoses, including Autism, PICA, cerebral palsy, OCD, Spina-Bifida, and depression.
