I have been a nanny for a while & have cared for many different ages! I love to go outside & explore or just take a walk to get fresh air. I think that doing educational arts/crafts/games are crucial for developing a child's personal creativity & keep the mind healthy! I started as a nanny in 2012 in Nashville TN working with a young girl (age:8-11) and was with that family for about 3 years. I moved to Chicago IL in 2015 where I nannied part time for two different families (age:18 months-3 yrs & age: 10 months - 2 yrs) until 2018. I had my first child in May 2018 and have not gone back to work since; but I would love to start working in childcare again. I want to be able to bring him along with me most days but not all. He is 10 months old, Read more very curious and loves to watch older children play. He gets along great with others and enjoys socializing! I am comfortable caring for up to 4-5 children total depending on the ages (*ideally 3 children + my son*). I have no problem preparing meals and snacks and can prepare food for children with allergies or diet restrictions. I don’t mind doing light tidying up but will always clean up after any messes the children I make while they’re in my care! References available upon request!
