Hi my name is Rachael! I am the mother of a very sweet 3-year-old boy. I love kids and have 2+ years experience as a professional nanny. I babysat on a regular basis in high school and usually cared for 3-4 children at a time, ages infant to age 8. While caring for the children, I often performed other tasks, such as cleaning, cooking meals & homework help. From spring 2012-fall 2013, I cared for my infant niece while my sister worked part time. My niece is only 3 months younger than my son and it was very rewarding caring for her and watching her grow and develop. During the fall of 2013 to March 2014 I cared for a family with a 3-year-old little girl & a 4-month-old, 3 days per week. I have been caring for a 2-year-old little girl & 7-month-old baby boy full time. I have bonded with both kids but after a year of commuting, I have decided to try and find a family to love and care for closer to my home. I am looking for a rewarding job that will bring in sufficient income while my husband goes to school, and allows me to bring my sweet boy with me. I live a healthy and active lifestyle and enjoy jogging, singing, playing softball, cooking, and crafting. I love engaging children in learning and encourage reading. I allow only minimal TV and recommend age appropriate education based shows when allowed. I also enjoy engaging children in music, outdoor adventures and arts/crafts. I believe that every child is a blessing and deserves loving care and focused attention. I would be honored to have the opportunity to care for your child or children.
