I am a current graduate from Centralia Community College with an A. A and A. S. And studies from Seattle Pacific University. I teach Ballet and Creative Movement to children 2-6 years old. I have my certificate and training in First Aid, CPR and AED for both pediatrics and adults. I am strongly involved with my church and have worked with many children in our VBS and AWANA programs. In these programs we outline times for games, snack and learning, we also include different events such as story time and theme days (so dressing up and being silly happens frequently). During my high school career, I was involved with the Day Care Programs there as well as Early Child Psychology classes, both of which I enjoyed profoundly. I also have younger nephews and nieces who I take care of often, as well as close family children. I have taken care Read more of up to 4 children at a time so it takes a bit to intimidate me. I believe that the bond between a parent and their child should be secure and dependable, and that the child should feel secure with the individual who is entitled to their care while the parent is gone. I also believe that a child shouldn't have to feel worried or stressed about their parent leaving for certain duration of time or during a parents absence. I adore children because they have the imagination to explore and develop ideas of their own, their own characteristics are what make each one of them unique and define themselves as who they are. Being a child is an important chapter in life, it's when we develop knowledge of secure and insecure relationships, what we like and dislike, and good or bad habits and learning qualities. I want to have a positive impact on every child I meet, and give them the confidence they need to be themselves and succeed. Because being a kid can be tough, especially when Mom and Dad are gone, sometimes kids just need someone who will care for them and be a friend until their heroes return home. My experience from working with children, both teaching and nannying for many years, has taught me much! And I continue to look forward to helping other families and children when needed.
