My name is Selena. I'm a 22 year old college student working at a retirement community in Des Moines. I come from a very large family with many teeny boppers, many of whom I've cared for throughout my life. I have experience mostly with an exuberant toddler (2.5 yrs) that I picked up from daycare Monday through Friday for two years. Our routine consisted of dinner time, feeding three pups, cleaning up after ourselves, bath time, brushing our teeth, and story/song time! I study developmental psychology and I'm always astounded by the knowledge and curiosity of children and try my best to understand and meet their needs while challenging them to think outside the box Read more and, ultimately, understand themselves and strengthen their communication. I'm a strong believer in creativity, fun, and exercise so I try my best to implement these with the children I get to spend time with! I'm open to tutoring, specifically in reading and writing, taking trips to the zoo and other fun places, and have quite a bit of experience with musical instruments! Overall, I'm genuinely excited to be around children as I feel that they allow us to let our "adulting" guard down and just have fun!

I had an interview and first time babysitting scheduled with Selena and she no-showed me. Really disappointed, wouldn't recommend.
