I'm a mom and former Elementary Music teacher who's children are now in their 20's and doing great! Think it will be awhile before I'm a grandma though and I love kids!! Not only did I have a classroom of 20+ kids at a time, my own children were all under 5 at one time! I know how to manage infants, busy toddlers, and inquisitive school-age kids all at once. I love to read and have been known to embellish a story with a costume or two, an English accent, or making it into a play - just to make it more engaging and interesting. As a music teacher, I take every opportunity to add musical or rhythmic elements into a child's work or play.
