In 2015, I graduated from Eastern Washington University with a BA in Children’s Studies, Summa Cum Laude , so I studied hard, and my knowledge and concepts of childcare are up to date and current. I have been in the caregiver field since 2012, and the first family I worked for was good with me working full time (their infant girl was 3 months) while in college full time. That turned out to be a very good thing, since the baby and then toddler was the recipient of my passion and learning. Many outings, art projects and interactions with the community occurred during that time. But my love for reading was really the thing that hooked thatt first little client. To this day, she loves to read. Although I am older, I am very active, and regularly work out in the weight room at the Y. Getting out in the Read more fresh air and beauty of the Northwest is a priority every day , since nature is an excellent teacher, among other things. I like to explore art, and love the Reggio Emilia approach of early learning in all respects. Reggio schools connect almost everything to art. I am a life long learner, and believe that that is a key to long term knowledge and happiness. I also am infant and child certified in CPR, through the Red Cross.
