My name is Cortnie Green. I am 23 years old and a mother to a very intelligent, outgoing and loving 4 year old boy. I recently got out of the army after 3 years of service to begin a career as a babysitter/nanny. I started in November 2014 working on Fort Lewis as a babysitter for 8 families. I watched anywhere from 2 children to 9 children every day. I would begin my care at 0530 (5:30am) every morning and would watch children until 1900 (7:00pm). I would provide all meals, snacks as well as drinks. I would work on educational activities to help stimulate their minds and prepare them for preschool and/or kindergarten. In January 2015, I moved off of Fort Lewis and because of that, I lost all but 1 client. From there, I began my work as a full time Nanny as well as housekeeper. I would Read more care for the 2 children from 0700 (7:00am) until 1830 (6:30pm). During the day I would prepare the meals, get the children dressed, wash and put away any dishes, vaccume and mop, wipe windows and window seals, make beds and have the house ready for the arrival of the parents.
