Hello! My name is Makailah and the past couple years I have worked in Bellevue and Issaquah as a full-time nanny. While I was in high school I worked part time. The majority of my nanny experience has been caring for little ones ages newborn to 5 years old. I have worked as a mother’s helper and a date night babysitter. I am also familiar with nanny sharing between two families. My experience also includes working with children who require specific needs such as: food allergies, food intolerances, learning challenges and medical needs. When I care for children I make sure to give my undivided attention creating a bond where laughter, creativity and trust thrive. I have a bubbly personality, lasting patience, and natural intuition regarding babies and children’s needs. Some activities I enjoy involving toddlers with are arts and crafts, puzzles, painting, dancing, photography and various music genres. I believe my role as a nanny is to provide peace of mind to the family as a whole. That includes providing excellent care to their children but also tidying up the kitchen, playroom, and children’s room. I have tremendous references! One family that I have babysat for since the beginning of high school and another family that I have nannied for 8 months for a set of twins. I was actively involved in my high school. I began playing cello in middle school and continued throughout high school. I also took 4 years of Spanish, joined a college preparation club as well as the Environmental Action Club. In my free time I enjoy yoga, swimming, baking sweet treats, and traveling the beautiful Pacific Northwest. I also love attending local festivals, shopping the farmers market, and occasionally going to Mariners or Seahawks games! Please let me know if you have anymore questions!
