Hello Parents! My name is Kristen. I just moved back to Kingston, Wa after 7 years. I am a graduate from Emmanuel College in Boston. While I was there I was a nanny for 2 families. One was for 2 boys ages 8 and 10, both with ADHD. The second family I worked had 2 boys ages 1 and 3. I transferred to Emmanuel from Gonzaga University after studying abroad on Semester At Sea. Through the program (SAS) I lived on a ship for 3 1/2 months circumnavigating the world and stopping in 10 different countries on the way. This experience gave me a global perspective and a new appreciation for all cultures and traditions. It also taught me the importance of the human connection. I love children and am a person who is very young at heart. After living in Boston I moved to Los Angeles where I was Read more a nanny for a wonderful family with two children (boy and girl ages 2 and 6). I love having fun, being active, and have a creative mind for fun child activities. I currently work part time at REI and am looking for set hours the rest of my week as a nanny or babysitter. I love anything artistic, musical or outdoors because they are all passions of mine. I have been a child care provider on and off for 12 years now. I have done everything from nannying, babysitting, athletic club kids centers, and I was a special needs camp counselor as well. My counselor job had me working with children from ages 4 to 21 of all disabilities. The job was through Seattle, Wa parks and recreation. I worked 24hrs on at this job with some of the most amazing counselors and campers who both taught me so much about this profession. I normally sit for families of about 1 to 3 children of all ages but I am open to all opportunities. Hope to hear from you soon!
