Hi I would like to introduce myself, my name is Stacie Driscoll. Working with children is my passion. I am dedicated to working with parents and families for the best interest of the children I get the honor of caring for. I started working with children while in high school at the child care that provided care for the teen parents. This was the beginning for me I knew that working with children would be in my future. Since those early days I was a stay at home mom for eight years with our four children. I have cared for several friends children before and after school and summers in my home. I was a parent volunteer for four years at a local Elementary School being in class at least once a week and going on all field trips. I worked for four years in a childcare center in Lake Read more Stevens before changing jobs and working in a Tribal Early Head Start for two years. I was also a foster parent, and adopted our oldest son when he was 11 years old. I have participated in a public online school for 2 of my boys with one of them graduating from the online school. I have a AA in Arts and Science taking both Early childhood Education and General Education classes. I recently completed the classes for the Child Development Degree. I have participated in several trainings over the years including foster parenting training for the State of Wa. and plan to continue taking trainings when they are available.
