I’m Maddy, a 20-year-old college student seeking more experience in the field I’m most passionate about… Early Childhood Education! I am young but incredibly experienced. My Experience: I have 5 older sisters with a total of 3 nieces and 4 nephews that I grew up caring for since they were born. I have over 8 years’ experience baby sitting and 2 years working in elementary schools with ages pre-k to 5th grade. I am currently working after school (part time) at a local elementary school with children k-5. My Qualifications: I have received a scholarship for my extensive community service hours working with preschoolers with learning disabilities. I am currently pursuing a career in the early childhood education field and am currently in school working towards my AA in hopes of becoming a teacher and one day owning my own preschool. I am very intentional with children. While caring for children I enjoy helping children exercise their creative right brain to learn by having fun. Some of my favorite things to do with preschool+ children are making our own paintbrushes out of sticks, leaves and things we can find in nature teaching children to be innovative and original or doing silly games and activity’s they don't get at school.
