I first began babysitting my first nephew when I was 10 and fell in love with working with children. As a preteen until I finished highschool I volunteered at girlscout camps and other functions as well as babysat for family and friends. When my youngest neice was born (2010) I moved in with my sister to be a live in caregiver for her four children one of which is autistic, I continued that for 2 years until I went into the "career" world in order to accomplish my goals of purchasing a house. Although I was able to accomplish my goal I did not enjoy my work, in the last year I have been fortunate to be able to transition back into childcare and have loved every minute of it. I am currently working full time as a nanny for a great family but they are unable to provide consistent Read more hours which is why I am looking currently.
