My name is Ali Tapert, and I am a 24 year old recent graduate. I just received my BS in Biology (Pre-Dental) at Eastern Washington University, in hopes to go to dental school. I am a very fun, loving and outgoing person who recognizes that each child has their own individual needs that must be met. I have experience in watching over large groups of children of varying ages, so I can confidently say I am comfortable with 4 or more kids at a time. I was the oldest child in my mom's group of friends, so ever since I turned twelve I was the go to babysitter! I started with small jobs of course (a few hours here and there) and over the years became a very reliable and trustworthy babysitter. I have watched children overnight, as well as traveled with families as a nanny. I am able to Read more adjust to the needs of any family, for example: helping with meals, planning activities according the the children's ages, making sure homework gets done, and of course getting to bed on time! I volunteered for a year at Housing Hope, which is a childcare center for low income and homeless families. I worked with infants all the way up to middle schoolers. I also have experience with special needs, Down's Syndrome specifically. I know that it takes a very professional and responsible person to be a baysitter, but I also know that kids need to have fun! I genuinely love working with kids and I love that it gives me a chance to put some entertainment into my day too.
