Hello There! A little bit about me- I love kids, and I am looking to go back to school for Early Childhood Education/Development. I believe in teaching kids with a positive attitude, and not using outdated disciplinary measures, such as spanking. Redirection, positive reinforcement, and talking with the child in a manner they can understand is how they will learn and grow best, in my opinion! A little background on my experience: I have a 2 year old baby brother who will be 3 in April, and I have helped care for him on many occasions since he was born. I love watching kids grow, I'm not afraid to get down on the floor and play interactively, and I will happily engage in any activities they would like as long as it is safe, just to see them smile and learn. I am a very creative person, very patient, and Read more good at coming up with ways to teach children new things in a fun, positive manner. I can be available whenever you need, including on-call and date nights, and can start as soon as you need me! I am CPR/first aid certified for all ages, and have some previous work experience caring for disabled young adults all the way to elders. I also have some clinical medical experience including emergency response, so please rest assured that if you trust me with your children's care, I will not only do everything possible to prevent any accidents, but I will know how to handle it calmly and professionally should any issues arise.
