Eperience: For 4 months a couple summers ago, I watched an 8 year old girl every Monday-Thursday & on Saturdays from 6 in the morning to 5 in the afternoon. We did Read more various activities like went to the lake to go swimming, went on bike rides, colored, watched movies, went on picnics, and went to the different parks in the area. I always made sure that we were doing something active or productive. I made her breakfast, lunch and occasionally dinner every day. (She usually ate dinner at home but there were some days where she would be with me a little later than usual and I would cook her dinner) (Continued)-From feb. 2014-sept. 2014 I also cared for an elderly woman every day except for Sundays from 10 in the morning until 8, sometimes 10 at night. I fed, changed, groomed, and bathed her. I did various activities with her including taking her on walks, reading to her, doing multiple brain exercises with her, and doing range of motion exercises and stretches with her. I made sure that all of her daily needs were met and that she was well taken care of and cared for. I have been trained in first aid and CPR, and while in high school got my STARS certification. I am also educated in blood-borne pathogens and HIV/AIDS, if that is a concern.
