Educational Nanny Hi! My name is Bonnie. I am a responsible, caring, hard-working, fun, and gentle nanny. I have thirty-six years of experience working with children of all ages. I have a B.A. in Elementary Education (K-8) with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education (Preschool to Grade 3). I taught third grade before my boys were born, and then became a stay-at-home mom, and cared for other children part time. I have enjoyed doing ministry and taking and teaching classes over the years as well. I also loved the years of homeschooling my boys, and I cared for two little girls for a couple of these years. I then became a lead teacher at an early childhood learning center. I first taught a two- and three-year-olds’ class, and then taught pre-k, preparing the children for kindergarten. Doing arts and crafts, reading stories, playing games, singing and dancing, taking walks, going Read more to the park, and making healthy snacks with children are a few of the things I love to do. Most of all, I enjoy watching children learn, grow, and have fun. Going back through the years, my love for children began with babysitting my little sister, who is ten years younger than I am, when I was ten. I continued babysitting for many families as I grew up. I was a camp counselor and then supervisor during college summers, and after college, taught school, Sunday school, and tutored. I am certified in CPR , First Aid, and S.T.A.R.S. Child Care Training. Since the beginning of 2015, I have been enjoying being a nanny again part time, a wife, and a mom of grown up boys who are now in college. I would love to nanny as a fill- in for an additional family this year.
