My name is Maddie Cramer. I am 21-years old, an herbalist, healer, community organizer, writing tutor, crafter, cook, spoken word poet, and musician currently residing in Denver. I’ve lived in Colorado my entire life so I am very familiar with this state. I am a positive, hardworking, organized, creative, and reliable individual. On my free time, I enjoy rock climbing, camping, hiking, gardening and fermenting food, cooking delicious and healthy meals, biking, playing the piano and ukulele, writing, reading, painting, and taking photographs in the mountains. I am a very unique caretaker because of my beliefs and values with children. I firmly believe that the greatest gift we can give to children is presence and wholehearted attention. I enjoy engaging with the imagination and curiosity embedded in children through reading books, playing outside, baking, crafting, and writing! I am a nonviolent communicator with children and do not believe in directing anger, EVER. If there is a conversation that needs to be had with a child, it can always be done through positive reinforcement so that they are seen, heard, and loved. Again, this is how my mom has raised me and it has been such a gift in my friendships and connections. One of my greatest strengths is my ability to communicate. It is one of the reasons why I believe that my relationships in this life are so rich and fulfilling. I am very receptive to constructive criticism and enjoy clear communication on what is expected of me as a caretaker and how I am able to meet those needs to the absolute best of my abilities! I have a certified license and clean driving record; however, I DO NOT OWN A CAR OR HAVE ACCESS TO A CAR. My means of transportation for the past 4 years have been through bus and bike. Since we live in a city that has an incredibly friendly public transportation system, acquiring car payments and car payments has not been imperative. I have used family cars in the past and can send along references in this realm.
