I have known without a shadow of a doubt that I wanted to work with children for a long time. Nothing satisfies me more than seeing a child learn and grow. I began babysitting at 12 years old and never stopped. While working in banking for over 2 years, I realized that I would never be truly satisfied with that career. That realization led to me working at a daycare, and then from there, I transitioned into nannying for a family. I was with the family for 6.5 years until they moved to Minnesota. During my time with them, I also provided short term care for 3 additional families, so had anywhere from 2 to 5 children at a time.
