Hello, Versatile, Reliable, Responsible, Dependable, Upbeat, Safety Conscious, Experienced Nanny and Grandmother of Three. I am an active, semi-retired Grandmother of three who is, also, positive, upbeat and creative. Giving back by assisting busy families with the very important care of their children brings me tremendous joy. My demonstrated experience is as follows: 09/01/ 2017 - 10/28/2017 Temporary position as a Nanny to two children, ages 8 and 11. My responsibilities included meeting the 8 year old boy at home after school and after his snack, I assisted him with homework, supervised piano practice and supervised play, screen time until his parents returned from work. The 11 year old girl was very busy after school with activities. When she was at home after school, I supervised piano practice and screen time. 01/2017 - 06/2017 Nanny to 6 year old boy that I picked up from school, took him to activities, Read more play dates, and places such as the library, the zoo. I prepared his snacks, played games, played outside, weather permitting, read stories and assisted the parents with light meal prep. Occasionally, upon request, I assisted with laundry and light meal prep. 2014 - 2015 Nanny for a 9 year old boy wherein I picked him up from school, assisted with homework, and supervised him until his parents returned from work. When homework was completed, we played outside, weather permitting. Otherwise, we played games, read books. 2013-2014 Nanny to a 3 year old. My responsibilities included picking him up from nursery school Monday-Friday, driving him home, preparing his snack, reading a book and settling him in for his nap. After his nap, we completed puzzles, read books, played with toys. Frequently, during his nap, I assisted the family with extras such as preparing their dinner, his dinner, and folding laundry. Weekly, we enjoyed going on field trips to the library where we read books and checked out books. Weather permitting, we played outside, either at the park or in the back yard. Being semi-retired affords me and your family the flexibility required with schedule changes such as pick-up on days of early dismissal. As a dog owner, I am very comfortable with pets.
