I started in this field during pregnancy to gain childcare experience and fell in love with it! I am now a mother to an 8 year old little girl in the 2nd grade and I have worked as a Nanny and at licensed facilities. Most recently, I have worked in an infant room at a child care center. I enjoy the outdoors and taking daily outings to local parks and playgrounds (weather permitting, of course!). Things I enjoy are frisbee, building sandcastles, digging for worms and gardening, building blanket fort and lego cities, creating and performing in "plays" with dolls or puppets, arts and crafts galore, reading, and so much more! It is my goal to not just "watch" children, but to be a teacher for them by setting a strong example and creating structured activities and routines. I strive to teach children manners, empathy for their peers and elders, Read more hygiene and picking up after him/herself. Most importantly, I hope to bring a smile to your child's face & hear him or her laugh on a regular basis. And lastly, I will love your child as if he or she were my own.
