Hello! Thanks for stopping by my page. Let me tell you a little about myself and what I am looking for to see if we are a good fit. I am 28 years old and new to Seattle. I moved here from San Francisco with my boyfriend as his company transferred him to the company headquarters. We live in First Hill with our cat, Tank. I am currently taking part time classes to work towards a BSN with a focus on pediatrics. Last year while working (unhappily) at a silicon valley start up I asked myself what my true passion in life was - the answer was children and health. I am hoping to work in pediatrics once I finish my degree, but as I work towards that goal, I am looking for part time work as a nanny. Like many women, I started caring for the neighborhood children as Read more a teenager. That expanded into a more longterm nanny position one summer in college caring for a wonderful family. I also have helped raise all four of my aunt's children (the three girls in my profile photo.) After college, I briefly substitute taught at an all day preschool in Brookline, MA. I like to have fun with kids in my care and also make sure we are exploring being creative with crafts, arts, reading, learning, or exercise. I NEVER just dump children in front of the TV. I am also happy to provide light transportation for your children. I drive a 2009 Audi Q5 with complete safety ratings. If this is part of the position, we will have to discuss and be open with expectations as the gas is quite expensive. I am pet friendly and EXTREMELY neat so I am happy to do some light house keeping. I also enjoy cooking and I am happy to prepare food for your children.
