This would be my first time watching after a child, one on one. I however, have been certified as a Home Health Aide. I no longer do that work, but I have held on to what I experienced. I worked with the elderly and sick in their homes. My responsibilities were home and health care: Light house cleaning duties, meal preparation, laundry, grocery shopping, bathing, administering medication, keeping my client company. Honestly, my love for children makes me stand out. Because I never had baby brothers and sisters. and didn't grow up around tiny cousins, I never had that opportunity as so many had at a young age. So, I feel the desire in me is stronger. I find myself more excited than most because I hadn't had those opportunities and experiences, growing up. I love music and artsy/craftsy things. I love to talk and keep children busy with creative Read more things. I listen to their stories and encourage them always, to be themselves and create how they see fit... I once told a little boy in an art class I conducted at my old job (Michaels Arts and Crafts), "It's okay to to make the Lynx blue."
