There has been no time in recent memory when health and global issues have needed more support — from the country’s growth in deaths due to heart disease to the treatment and elimination of corneal blindness to providing care to those with short and long term disabilities. These next generations are the first that may not live past their parents! It is for this reason I received my degree in gender and cultural studies with collateral concentrations in women's health and continued my education in plant-based nutrition. I have an unwavering commitment to nutrition, particularly in the area of plant-based nutrition and a strong connection to the empowerment it can bring women and children in particular. The main focus in my education centered on women’s health and nutrition, and has continued in plant-based nutrition and plant-based culinary proficiency. I am working to open my own business as a plant-based personal chef and believe that the knowledge I will obtain working with you will only be beneficial.
