Hi everyone! I have relocated to Seattle, Washington, for an exciting AmeriCorps term. I will be working business hours Monday through Friday, but will be available evenings and weekends for childcare, house sitting, and/or pet sitting. I have 10+ years of experience with child care, from babysitting to full-time nannying and house care (I include light cleaning and laundry with my childcare services). I have had two wonderful nannying positions through Care. com this past year, which were rewarding and fulfilling for myself and the families. I worked at a private preschool for two years working as an assistant teacher in the 2-3-year-old preschool classroom. I love working with children of all ages, though early childhood is my favorite! Through AmeriCorps, I will be volunteering for a non-profit organization in downtown Seattle, living on a small stipend from the government that is supposed to cover food, rent, and everything else!
