Hi. I'm seeking a part-time nanny position in the Shoreline or neighboring areas. SitterCity ran my background and driving records, which are all clear. I have a BA from Western Washington in Human Services. I became recertified in First Aid & CPR for all ages on 8/26/16. Recently I left my almost 14 year position in a non-profit, social service agency. I often handled intense crisis situations. After I lost my son one year ago (due to a congenital heart condition), I would now like to help people in less extreme situations. Being a nanny is perfect for me. (Even my 26 year old daughter agrees!) I love children, have successfully raised two of my own into kind, responsible adults, have 5 grandchildren nearby, and have watched many children of all ages over the years. I have a lot of patience with kids and enjoy spending time with them. I Read more also love animals, cooking and gardening. I do not smoke, and I have no problem making snacks, preparing meals, helping kids study, and doing light household chores. I charge $17/hour and would ideally like to work 15-30 hours/week.
