Hi, Parents! My name is Sophia. I am crafty, creative and nurturing. I love children and love to take care of them. I believe children need consistent guidance and encouragement. I may be new on sittercity but I have earned all 5-star reviews, completed 115 jobs for 34 families on another sitter’s site. I am current CPR/First Aid certified. I have a B.A. in Linguistics and obtain Early Childhood Education certificates. I have taken the following child related courses, such as, early childhood education, child development, health safety and nutrition, guiding behavior, school-age care, exceptional child, language/literacy development and math/science methods in young children. I have been volunteering in our local church at nursery, toddler, pre K and kindergarten rooms for years. I also volunteered at a Reggio Emilia inspired preschool in Seattle-Phinney Ridge for three months.
