I am a compassionate, loving, go with the flow women who adores children, yet can be firm at times if required. I enjoy bringing my love of art, dance, outdoors, healthy foods, and exploration to children. Interactive choices and empowering others to be confident in their own freewill while still being respectful and honoring of those around them is key. I love the opportunity to get messy, loud and energetic with children… and we clean up afterward, knowing that we had a good, full day. I am fluent in Spanish and like to teach little words and phrases. I have a love for traveling and gained an appreciation for different cultures and am confident with challenging situations. Working with kids for so many years, I have come to understand that children come into the world with a blank slate. I believe that children should be given the ability to become independent individuals by setting limits with positive discipline, praise, and encouragement. I enjoy being surrounded by children because of their imagination, innocence, and creativity. I have been working with children for the past 6 years in the position of babysitters, nanny, camp councilor, daycare assistant, preschool teacher, and soccer coach. I have worked with all ages from newborn to 16 years old. I enjoy watching children grow and learn, helping them as they grow and face new challenges in school and life in general.
