I'm 25 and I've been CPR certified in the past but have not had the chance to update it. My experience with children includes babysitting, camps, teaching preschool and sunday school, tutoring, daycare and after school programs. I've also worked with children in Africa at an childrens homes. I spent a month in Mozambique and spent the past year and a half in Uganda as a the homes coordinator and spiritual director/counselor. In college I took developmental psychology as well as early childhood education.

Maria was wonderful! She was great with my son. He can have separation anxiety at times, but he didn't fuss at all when I left him with Maria. I am so excited to have found her! She was also very professional and polite to my son and me. I had never used a sitter service before, so I was nervous, but she really made me feel comfortable. I HIGHLY recommend her.

With an almost impossible situation, I needed to find some body to help out with my 4 children for the week. My wife left town for the 8 days and I was in trouble. I needed to find someone to act as surrogate for my kids. I spoke with Maria and she assured me that my kids would be well taken care of. All week Maria arrived on time at 6:00 in the morning, allowing me to make it to D.C. from Baltimore....ON TIME. My wife and I won’t trust just anyone with our children as she has stayed home to take care of all of our children for the past twelve years. For me this was a big step, to trust someone else to care for our children, drop them off for camp, and make sure they were prepared for the day. However, she has exceeded all of my expectations. My kids like her and I highly recommend her as she has handled herself very professionally. I will definitely use her again.
