My name is Danisha. I am currently enrolled at UTSA pursuing a Masters in Elementary Education. Children have been a passion of mine since I first became a child care giver when I was 15 years of age. All of my classes are online and I will have an open schedule. I love reading, writing, and a lot of outdoor activities. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I do have my own transportation and can get all your needs met. I have a lot of experience with children. I worked with the Kin Program for NEISD and worked the grade levels PRE K to 5th grade levels for five years. It truly was a rewarding experience. It opened my eyes to endless activities and fun to not only teach them, but for them to teach me. I also use to Nanny for two families for about 5 years with Read more ages ranging from newborn to school age. I recently stopped being there nanny because they are now full time students. In addition to watching children I also have experience with special needs. I worked with a non profit organization for 7 years working with all special needs children and adults with all types of physical and intellectual disabilities. Danisha is sensitive to a career woman's needs! I am swamped with responsibility and loaded with stress - trying to keep it all together and raise two little girls is HARD. Danisha makes it easy and alleviates some of my stress. I know that when I leave my girls behind, they are in good care. She calls and provides updates, does light housework and cooking even though she's never been asked to. I tell her that her priority is to just play all day :) She goes above and beyond. We're bummed we moved quite a ways away, but will continue to call her when needed. She's great!
