I am a mom of a 3 year old boy and a 4 1/2 year old girl, looking for a playmate or two around my kid’s ages to nanny in my home, two or three consistent days per week long term. My home is in a cul de sac with a fully fenced backyard in the Mill Creek/Snohomish area. My home is non smoking and pet friendly. For the past 4 years I have been a nanny for an amazing family whose kids really became part of my family. This family will no longer need me as a nanny shortly and so I am looking for another kiddo or two to welcome into my home. Previous to the last 4 years, I worked in the early childhood education field for 10+ years and went to school, completing my bachelors degree, with the goal of eventually becoming a licensed mental health Read more counselor for children. This has provided me with a solid foundation of experience and education encompassing child development. While working in the early childhood education field, I held a few different positions and ultimately became a coordinator for a center licensed for 90 children. I have worked with all age groups ranging from birth to 6th grade, but I have the most experience with age groups ranging from birth to kindergarten, professionally, and as a mom and auntie. While I do still one day dream of completing my masters and pursuing counseling for children, for now, while my kids are little, nannying is really a perfect fit. I am willing to update my CPR and First Aid certifications, submit to a background check, DMV record check and drug test as desired. I can also provide several glowing references.
