Ever since I was a child my self, I have always had a soft spot for providing care to children. My little brother was born when I was 6 and I of course wanted to my mom's little helper. Once I became older I started babysitting for my dad friend kids and they were mostly boys ranging from 4-7. At the at age 16 I started caring for my Mom's employee's 5 month old infant and he is now 3 year and I still watch him on occasional. He has brought so much joy to my life in these past three years and it has definitely amplified my passion for providing care for children. He does have some short of sensory processing order so he is little behind in development, so I definitely choose actives to do with him that promote child development. I learned those skills in the child Read more psychology class I took in high school. In that class we learned all about childhood development from conception to about 7 years old. That class gained me a lot of experience because we did operate a preschool in our classroom 2 days a week. As a group we would plan lessons, crafts, story time, and also clean up after. I completed this class and earned a Washington State Star certificate. Honestly for me, caring for a child is just something I genuinely enjoy and it is something I am passionate about.
