I had been a private nanny and tutor for three years while attending Clark College for Early Childhood Education and Development through my first pregnancy and up until my daughter was seven months. Then I was hired at Childsplay Learning Center as a preschool teacher in April 2015, where I taught an energetic and creative class of 20, with a hands-on and child-directed teaching style. After working at Children's Village for about a month I returned to Childsplay as their infant teacher- as I am now nine months pregnant with my second daughter. I have all my credentials; 30 hours STARS training, annual 10 hours a year, CPR/FIrst Aid, TB Test, Background check, Safe infant sleep course, Blood Borne Pathogens class, with experience teaching special education and music in education. I also did my senior project in high school on non-violent communication with children, and the direct impact that the Read more way we speak and act has on their development. I am currently looking for a fun and exciting family to give my services to for two months after my second daughter is born (due September 25th). I cannot return from maternity leave for six weeks, but those weeks are not paid and our little family is already in a financial struggle. I would have my newborn with me, but this will not interfere with my love, care, and attention being placed on your wonderful children. This is how I supported us when my first daughter was an infant and I am very comfortable with it. Hope to find someone whose needs can coincide with my timing. It would be for the months October and November, I can help with homework, prepare meals, clean house, educate the children, bring fun and educational activities and crafts, pretty much anything you need :) Look forward to hearing from you.
