Hello! I am a wonderfuly creative Waldorf childcare provider available for hire! I just moved to White Salmon from Portland because my husband lives here. I have studied Early childhood Education and Waldorf Teacher Training. My childcare philosophies weigh heavy on imagination and nature, nurturing values and relationships, and learning about being healthy. I am also a part time student taking online classes for Wedding Planning, so I have lots of flexibility in my schedule for the right family. I am looking for a wonderful family who wants me to be like a part of their family. I enjoy being close and familiar, and care deeply about everyone whom I care for. I have a 5 year old daughter of my own, whom I have with me half of the week when she Read more is not living on a Waldorf farm with her father. She is prescious and loves other kids to play and grow with, all ages. Again, I only have her half the week, usually Fri night- Tues morn. I have been doing childcare for 12 years, since my nephew was born an infant. I have a very large family and I was always the babysitter for everyone, friends family and neighbors. I have 15+ years experience. I love dancing, singing, and telling stories with kids, getting all dressed up and putting on plays is my favorite! And also teaching them how to grow, harvest and prepare their own food. I find such joy in showing them wholesome values in life and how to love and respect themselves, each other, and this earth. I am a very nurturing caregiver, honest and up front, responsible and respectful. I have a volvo station wagon that is great for after school activities with multiple children and soccerballs and groceries.

The first time Jessica W. met our 3 year old son, they hit it right off. My son can be shy sometimes, but he ran right up to and they were chatting and having a great time. We tried saying goodbye to our son, but he was having so much with Jessica, he didn't even care! No tears :) Jessica is a great communicator, she is responsible, great with kids, patient and loving. We are so lucky we found her. After she babysits our son, the first thing he says when he wakes up is, "Where is Jessica?" <3
