I am an adventurer and a deeply caring person at heart. I have a thirst for learning, and getting to know people better. Since my graduation from Whitworth University in 2014, I have traveled, worked as a paraeducator, and coached. I have been babysitting for 10 years. I started at the age of 13, for the neighbor across the street for one hour every week. Since then, my babysitting has greatly increased. My senior year of college, while I was double majoring in Math and Spanish, I was a live in nanny for four kids. After graduation, in order to subsidize my traveling dreams, I became an Aupair to two wonderful children. While babysitting started as a way to earn some money and to fund my travels, it became something much, much, more. With each child I babysat I developed a unique relationship; I not only taught them valuable lessons, Read more but they also helped me grow. Each family I have babysat for has shaped me in some way. For the past year I have been working as a paraeducator in a behavioral and emotional disorder program. While employed in this position, I have learned to multitask effectively and my patience has grown immensely. I have also learned to develop compassion and understanding for children even when they are behaving at their worst. I am first aid and CPR certified.
