Hello there! My name is Claire Taylor, and I am a 27-year old currently living in Chicago. I recently made the move here from Seattle, and am excited about being in a new city! I am also looking forward to finding a new family to join as a nanny. The majority of my childcare experience has been with infants and toddlers (6-months through about 2 years old), both full-time nanny and part-time sitter. I truly love taking care of babies, but would not shy at the potential opportunity to work with older kids. I know that my creative mind and experience in art are a great advantage in filling the day with fun activities. This can be very handy, especially during the cold winter months. I also love spending time outdoors! Going for nice walks, playing in parks, spending time at the beach, relaxing with books and toys in the Read more grass, biking, hiking - you name it - are all great ways to fill the days with fun. As for my most recent experience with babies, I certainly have all the basic skills (diapers, lullabies, handy tricks for calming a crying baby, etc.). I love to sing, play, laugh, dance, and simply make a baby smile. Nothing warms my heart more! I also understand the importance of keeping a good schedule for naps, feeding, etc. Whatever you wish, I am here to help! I also love to cook if needed! My recent experience has shown me that this is the perfect kind of work for me. Without a doubt, my patience, diligence, and creativity are among my greatest assets.
