Thanks for taking the time to read a bit about me! My name is Kayla, I am 24 years old from Appleton, Wisconsin. The past year I have been traveling and falling in love with the world. My most recent nanny experience was as an au pair in Cambrils, Spain where I lived with a family and took care of two boys ages 4 and 7. It was an absolutely amazing experience with a lovely family in a beautiful country. Before I decided to take some time to travel, I worked as an elementary school teacher for two years just after graduation. I taught a first grade and sixth grade class at Huntley Elementary in Appleton, Wisconsin. Though the age groups were very different, both years were an excellent start to my teaching career. I graduated in 2013 from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with degrees in Elementary Education and Read more Communication Studies. After teaching for two years I decided to take the opportunity to travel and learn from the world. Unsure about my desire to jump back into the teaching career, I am now looking for a job in which I still get to spend my days with children, outside of the classroom. Through high school and college I have always worked with children in Sunday school, day camps, and classrooms. I am patient, trustworthy, and dependable.
