Certified elementary school teacher looking to assist parents with home learning this fall while COVID-19 prevents typical classroom settings. My background includes degrees in Elementary Education and Spanish from the University of Wisconsin- Stevens Point, graduating class of 2015. I also have 2 summers as a camp counselor for children ages 6-18 at CWES (Central Wisconsin Environmental Station). I moved to Madison to be with my now wife in 2016 after teaching in Appleton, Wisconsin for 1 year. I worked for MMSD for a semester as a substitute teacher, and ultimately changed courses to another passion for the last 4 years as the manager of Capital Fitness in downtown Madison. My plan was to get back into education this fall, but due to COVID-19, I'm now looking to help parents and children have a good education experience from home. I have flexible hours. I'm okay with all pets. I have Read more my own transportation in the form of a bike (living currently in the Vilas neighborhood near Meriter Hospital). I'm open to biking further distances. My interests include walking my dog Rudy, sports and fitness of all kinds, reading, among many other things. My wife and I are taking COVID-19 very seriously, and I will wear a mask at all times.
