Hi there! I suppose I should have clicked for babysitter rather than nanny more-so. Unfortunately it will not let me go back and click babysitter rather than nanny-But I would consider myself to be in-between a babysitter & a nanny. I could teach them certain skills if necessary & would love to. Like hand motor skills with your baby and walking/crawling , etc... And potty training, words, numbers, the types of animals, names, mannerisms that you would prefer they learn & so forth. Keep up on housework.You name it. I personally do not care for much TV. I am a 27 year old female & I have been a long term care taker for many children ever since I was young. A lot of the time for people my age who I knew from school who have had a child & the couple with the child didnot stay together for Read more very long so I looked after them as they worked, went to school, or went out to enjoy themselves. Also I have cared after the children of lovely adults who are way older than me ever since I was I was young-but let's just go with since I was age 13 to 20. Their kiddos are so much older now it is crazy to even think about! Then after 20 it was for people I knew who were near my age group. I'm sure if you asked them they would say I'm very trustworthy, cautious, good with the young, sweet, & happy to do the job as you wish it be done! The kids would probably say that I'm silly, good to them, & very gentle. Love to play board games or come up with games, go outside, communicate properly with them & attend to their needs well without being too in their face. Nothing has ever happened to a child in my care other than two times I remember vividly. My neice got one of her toenails injured while we were at the park. The bathroom door did it as someone was coming out of the bathroom. I almost broke out in tears. But she was all-ok. Then I really cannot even recall a second time any child had anything happen to them while I was with them. 1 time when I was way young 11 yrs old-about the mom did not leave any formula for her baby-not my fault but that was sad! I really take this type of work seriously. I've babysat for a wide variety of ages. I'm especially good with newborns-7 years of age. The years after that as well. Super understanding with them as they grow. I used to have certifications & took classes for emergency/important situations while I'm looking after&out for your little ones. I have a heightened intuition,ears,N eyes.If need be can get recertified this yr. If insisted!
