Hello! My name is Kelly Timmerman, and I am a sophomore in college. I am currently working towards earning a degree in Secondary English Education, as well as a degree in Spanish. As of now I plan to teach English at the high school level, and although I am unsure of what I will be using my Spanish degree for, I believe that it is very valuable to be bilingual. I am the youngest of 10 children, and all my siblings are married with children except for one. That being said, although I am the youngest of 10, growing up I felt as though I had many little siblings because of all of my little nieces and nephews. Family is very important to me and so I love to see my brothers, sisters, and their children as often as possible. Because I am with my family a lot I understand Read more the joys and challenges of taking care of children, and I also have a lot of experience taking care of children. In junior high I babysat for a family with 5 children, and in high school I became a Certified Nurse Assistant and worked at the local nursing home for the last four years. I enjoyed both jobs thoroughly, and I really loved working with the elderly in the nursing home but I would like a change in scenery for the summer!
