I'm 33 years old and I became a caregiver because I love kids and enjoy how we can touch their lives and watch them grow. I work at a daycare center right now forty hours a week four days a week. I have every other Thursday off and when I don't have Thursday off I have Friday off. I work from 8-6pm 3 of my 4 days and then one day usually Wednesday or Thursday. I work from 7 or 7:30 to 5 or 5:30 on either Wednesday or Thursday. I've babysitting kids since I was 12 or 13. I have also been a Nanny and teacher. I've taught over in South Korea for three years. The ages I taught over there were between 3-15 yrs old. I've worked with infants and toddlers too. Right now at my daycare center I'm the lead teacher for 1 yr. to 23 mos. Read more I'm a creative individual who would rather play, do activities, go places with children such as museums and parks, or play outside with them rather than have them play video games, watch movies, or watch TV. I've written lesson plans, come up with books to teach out of and have even helped create curriculums. I'm registered at level 12 in the Wisconsin Registry, and have my WMELS (Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards) certification. I have my certifications in Infant Toddler Education as well as School Age Education. I have taken my CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications I just need to renew them. I have worked with children from all diffferent economic and cultural backgrounds and I have also worked with children with ADD, ADHD, and Autism a little. I promise I will watch after your kids as if they were mine and make sure safety and security will always come first. I have also worked with infants as young as 2mos so I have worked with all ages of children starting at Newborns all the way up through teenagers. I hope you will consider me for this job.
