I absolutely love caring for kids - something that probably rubbed off on me by being raised around so many of them. I was home-schooled by my grandmother while she also ran a home-daycare. As soon as I was old enough to start helping out, I did. At 12 I took a baby-sitting course through the red cross and began baby-sitting. I also continued to help out at both my grandmother's daycare and my aunt's daycare until I was asked to be a full-time nanny for one of my mother's coworkers. While in high school, I took child-development classes and got involved with the Pride Guides and MSCR's Junior Leader program. I worked at MSCR Super Center Art Camp for the summer of '13 and then got re-hired as a SaveHaven program leader at Lakeview Elementary school. Through MSCR I completed more than 50 hours of training and gained incredible Read more experience. Most recently, I was a full-time nanny (55hrs/wk) for a Madison family from August until the end of January. While I might be young, I have quite a bit of experience and I am extremely excited to find a family to start working with. Additional skills: healthy cooking and baking from scratch, sewing, hair cutting, gardening, hoop dance, experience planning k-5 crafts and activities, some Spanish(willing to learn more).
