I am interested in working with children of all ages. I recently graduated with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies that partially focused on child development and developmentally appropriate activities to do with children. I have done volunteer work at nonprofit organizations and provided care for children. One of the organizations I worked for gave me an opportunity to work with kids that have special needs, including autism, cognitive disabilities and seizures. I also worked at a Family Resource Center where I had opportunities to help facilitate Play Group classes, make lesson plans, and provide childcare for kids 0-5 years old. Most recently I have had the opportunity to nanny for a 3 year old boy. Working one on one with this child has allowed me to work on planning daily activities and trips, lesson plans, meal preparation, while also engaging in age appropriate play. I am CPR Read more and First Aid certified for both children and adults. Overall, I love kids, I value building their brains and helping them develop the best they can socially, emotionally, and physically
